This Cookie Policy explains how Mecharim Ltd.and its affiliates (“Mecharim,” “we”) use cookies and similar technologies on mecharim.com and the Mecharim platform (together, the “Service”). Read this Policy alongside our Privacy Policy.

We classify cookies by purpose:

Strictly necessary — required to operate the Service. These cannot be turned off without breaking functionality such as sign-in, session management, routing, and fraud prevention.
Functional — remember your preferences so the Service behaves consistently, such as the language and display settings you have selected.
Analytics — help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We aggregate and pseudonymize this data where possible.
Marketing — used to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and, where permitted, to deliver relevant advertising on other sites. We set these only with your consent and only where applicable.

The Service currently sets these cookies:

Strictly necessary — platform.session. Holds the signed-in session. HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax, path /, lifetime 30 days. We do not set a separate CSRF cookie. Cross-site form posts are limited by SameSite=Lax, and Next.js checks the origin of server actions.
Strictly necessary — mecharim_invite. Set when you open an organization invitation link, so that visit joins the invited organization instead of creating a new one. SameSite=Lax, path /, lifetime 1 day. Cleared when the invitation is accepted.
Functional — NEXT_LOCALE remembers the language you chose. SameSite=Lax, path /, lifetime 1 year.
Functional — mecharim_cookie_consentstores whether you accepted or rejected the cookie banner. SameSite=Lax, path /, lifetime 1 year. The same choice is also kept in local storage under the same name.

We do not currently set analytics or marketing cookies.

4. Third-party cookies

We do not currently embed third-party services that set their own cookies. If that changes, those cookies will be listed here and, where consent is required, offered through the cookie banner.

5.1 Consent banner

Where required by law, we display a cookie banner the first time you visit. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies. Clearing mecharim_cookie_consent shows the banner again.

5.2 Browser settings

Most browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies and control how sites store them. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may prevent the Service from working.

5.3 Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Industry standards for “Do Not Track” are not uniformly implemented. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals where required by applicable law by treating them as an opt-out of non-essential cookies.

We may update this Policy from time to time. The version indicator and effective date at the top of this page show when it was last revised.
